🐾DOG
The dog’s athletic ability, enthusiasm, and disc skills.
Scoring Considerations:
Prey drive, speed, focus
Tracking, leaping, and landing ability
Disc control and consistency
Catching discs from varying angles and distances
Consistent engagement with both handlers
Maintains focus and enthusiasm regardless of who is throwing
Performs confidently and smoothly across multi-handler sequences
🤹HUMAN
The handlers’ creativity, technical skill, and innovation.
Scoring Considerations:
Variety and difficulty of throws
Creativity in trick design and execution
Disc control, placement, and transitions
Innovative sequences or movements
Coordinated team moves such as synchronized throws, vaults, or transitions
Use of creative figures or sequences unique to Pairs
Balanced participation and difficulty shared across the team
🔄TEAM
The structure and smoothness of the overall routine.
Scoring Considerations:
Logical transitions between tricks
Linked sequences, not isolated moves
Effective disc management
Consistent pace and rhythm
Smooth handler-to-handler transitions
Active and balanced contributions from both handlers
Cohesive structure that enhances team choreography
Avoids breaks or confusion—routine flows as one complete performance
